A wonderful story about the sunset is the famous “Green Flash” that can be seen if one pays close attention. A Green Flash is an optical illusion that occurs right after sunset. One of the more popular Sanibel Island activities is the local Sanibel Farmer’s Market. They are no longer just a place to buy produce; farmers’ markets have grown across the country the past few years. The Sanibel Farmer’s Market is held on Sundays from 8am to 1pm at City Hall.
